Here is the reverse storyboard for the Scion ad that I created using screen captures.
Note the hilarious disclaimer I noticed at the end of this ad:
"Vehicles shown are special project cars, modified with non-genuine Scion parts and accessories. Modification with these non-genuine parts will void the Scion warranty, may negatively impact vehicle performance & safety and may not be street legal."

First off, I love the disclaimer - so good!
ReplyDeleteBy just scanning your storyboard, I can tell that I'm definitely more attracted to your layout and design than I am to mine. I feel like there's more of an overall cohesive look - everything fits together.
I also like how the screen shots are more spread apart; it's not as overwhelming, tedious to read, or repetitious as my storyboard could be. You did a good job highlighting the most important and complicated transitions in the video, rather than focusing on every trivial movement.
What I thought was unexpected, but awesome, is that I could just read your explanations on the happenings of that scene, and very clearly visualize the action without even glancing at the screen shots. It really shows that you understood the movements and were able to wonderfully express them - even if they were fast-paced and complicated!
I may be a little bias, but the only things I would add to the storyboard are visual hints or indications to better understand the movements; just so the viewer can glance at the screen shots and immediately grasp the action of the scene.
Other than that - just the best!! Really well put together!!!! And just so nice to look at!!
